The Ocean Floor

This trip takes you to one of the wadis that was still under the sea some 300 years ago. Erosion has not yet taken place and on this journey you will feel like you are walking on the ocean floor. The route starts with a 2.5km hike to first abseiling point. After the first 20M abseil, there will be dozen more abseiling and ascending experience along with hiking and canyoning. The new route requires canyoning and abseiling and is considered medium to difficult.

Packing List
The Essentials: Ankle support hiking boots, thick woolen socks, 50L hiking rucksack, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, headlights (with spare batteries), thick trousers as the rocks are very sharp and can rip leggings etc, a spare set of clean clothing, reusable insulated water bottle (2l), Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

Nice to Have: Hat, sunglasses, gloves for summertime (Rocks can get hot), lip balm, bug spray/ repellent, camera / gopro with chargers, extra batteries, toiletries, fresh clothes, sandals / flipflops for the camp
