Tiwi & Tahery
This trip combines canyoning with caving for a fun weekend of adventure. Starting at the earlier time of 8am on Thursday, the group will drive to Wadi Tiwi for a day of canyoning before camping on the Salmah Plateau. On Friday morning, after a warm breakfast the group will drive to the Tahery start point and hike 2-3 hours to reach the magnificent Tahery Cave. Once you reach the inside of the cave, enjoy a packed lunch before heading inside the cave to explore some more.
On the second night the team will cook steaks on the fire and camp overnight inside the cave itself. A truly unique experience. On Saturday morning you will wake up and start hiking at 5am, watch the sunrise as you reach the start point. After this the group will drive to Fins and enjoy a warm breakfast before driving back to Muscat for around 1pm.
This trip is considered Medium and requires good fitness levels. Swimming will be required at Tiwi, life jackets and helmets provided for the canyoning.

*For the hike to Tahery you will be required to carry your pack lunch, packed breakfast, snacks and minimum 3L of water. Tents or cot beds are provided for the first night on Salmah Plateau, on the second night camping in Tahery you have the option of taking a tent but you must carry this yourself. We recommend taking on the essentials such as sleeping bag and mat. Head torches are also essential for this trip.
