The Adventure Trail

The Adventure Trail is an 8 km long historical treasure site with clusters of pictographs that are two-thousand years old. This trail is the best representation of AlUla’s rich heritage and beautiful nature. Experience a variety of different terrains including volcanic rocks and soft sand.

The Adventure Trail is a 1 hour 10 minute drive each way and the hike itself takes around 3-4 hours, depending on fitness levels. In Winter months, some sections of the trail will have deep pools of rainwater that reach up to the waist line or beyond. The tour will pass through the water pools so please bring a change of clothes with you.

• We recommend dressing in comfortable hiking attire and boots, bringing your hat, sunscreen, jacket/windbreaker, polar fleece, and backpack
• Please pack a change of warm clothes to wear after submerging into pools of water
• Not suitable for children under 10
• Hiking requires physical fitness and stamina
• Hiking clothes and boots will not be provided

Please be mindful of booking other activities if the estimated return time overlaps with the Adventure Trail experience.
