Jebel Shams Overnight Experience

Experience the striking scenery of the Western Hajar mountain range. Hike 3 km along the the Jebel Shams balcony trail, a 200 year old route which leads to the abandoned village of Sab Bani Khamis and the hidden lake. From here you have the option to hike back the same route or climb the Via Ferrata. This exciting activity involves a 200 m climb up the cliff face using a steel cable. Camp overnight within the grounds of Sama Heights Resort which offers access to bathrooms. The following morning the group will visit the picturesque village of Misfat Al Abriyeen before driving back to Muscat.

Experienced guiding team, safety equipment (helmets and harnesses), one night camping at Sama heights Resort, tent, sleeping bag and sleeping mat provided. Inlcudes packed lunch, dinner, breakfast, snacks and bottled water.

- This is a mixed group, mixed gender trip
- Booked in mutiples of 2's on a sharing basis (double or twin room)
- Minimum group size is 2 people, maximum size is 12 people

Packing list: Ankle support hiking boot, hiking gear (such as dryfit clothing, shorts for mean and leggings for ladies), sun hat, sunscreen, spare clothes and sandles to change in to.
