Day_1: Port Ghalib To Giza by Flight

Mosque of Mohamed Ali
Mohamed Ali mosque is the alabaster mosque due to its unique design and the extensive usage of marble. It was built between 1830 and 1848 AD to be a replica of the blue mosque in Istanbul and act as a symbol of independence and freedom against the Ottoman Kingdom. The mosque is very captivating with its ottoman style architecture and the possession of an ornate brass clock a gift from King Louis Philippe of France to Muhammad Ali in 1845 in exchange of an obelisk which stands in the Concorde square in Paris.
