8 days Egypt Itinerary Cairo and Nile cruise

Day 1: Arrival and Welcome in Cairo:
Your Cairo and Nile Cruise begins at your chosen hotel in Cairo. Upon arrival to Cairo Int. Airport, you will be met with our English-speaking representative who will help and assist you in all formalities. A private transfer by an A-C van from the airport to your hotel in Cairo is included. Arrives to your hotel, check in, rest and refresh.Overnight in Cairo.

There is a great idea to spend your fisrt day in Cairo to enjoy a beautiful dinner cruise (Optional).

Day 2: Tour to Pyramids & Egyptian Museum:
Breakfast at hotel. Then you will be met by our English Egyptologist tour guide to start your first day tour by visiting Pyramids of Giza "Khufu, Khafre & Menkaure", where the greatness has been embodied in three pyramids with a limestone statue of Sphinx guarding the whole area.

Then proceed to one of our local restaurant to have your lunch.

After that you will move to visit The Egyptian Museum
which has more than 250,000 pieces display a rare collection of Egyptian art Over 5,000 years, as well as Tutankhamen room which has treasure, jewelry and gold’s which was enclosed in his tomb over 3500 years before it was discovered in 1920 when his tomb was excavated.

After finishing your day tour, you will be transfered back to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3: The old Cairo and Islamic Cairo:
Pick Up time from your hotel in Cairo at 08:00 am with your Egyptologist tour guide continuing Cairo and Nile Cruise. Enjoy a fantastic orientation tour of Cairo on an 8-hour excursion that takes in the major monuments of Old Cairo and the maze of streets and stalls of the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

You will drive up to the Saladin Citadel, constructed by Salah al-Din on the Moqattam Hills in 1183 AD as a defense against Crusader armies. Known for its fresh air and sweeping views of   Cairo , it is now a preserved historic site of mosques and museums, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha

Designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, who came to   Cairo  especially from Istanbul to build the great building, the mosque's alabaster structure stands in beautiful contrast to the sandstone city.

Lunch will be served in Local restaurant in Old Cairo

Then, visit Old Cairo to see major attractions such as the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga, one of the oldest Coptic churches in   Cairo

Continue to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East back to your hotel in Cairo

Day 4: Fly to Luxor _ Embarkation on Nile Cruise:
Pick up time from your hotel in Cairo to Cairo airport, You will fly to Luxor from Cairo , Upon your arrival to Luxor ,You will be picked up by our agent in Luxor and transfer to the Nile Cruise, for Embarkation& Lunch on board of the Nile Cruise, proceed with the Visits to the East bank of the Nile Including

Once  called the great Place of the Truth, this valley Called now the valley of the Kings, It is a Majestic domain of the Pharaohs who once lay in great stone Sarcophagi, awaiting immortality, The isolated valley behind Deir el Bahri is dominated by the Pyramid-Shaped Mountain Peak

Day 7: Aswan Day Tour:

08:00 Proceed with Visits of Aswan including the temple of Philae and tour by Felucca around Elephantine, the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk

Aswan High Dam was built between 1960 and 1970 across the Nile and had a positive effect on the economy and culture of Egypt. Continue  Aswan tour and visit one of the important obelisks in ancient Egypt:

The two temples of Ramses the second and the Queen Nefertari were carved out of the Mountain on the west bank of the Nile between 1274 and 1244 B.c, The Great Temple was dedicated to Ramses the second, Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra and Ptah, with 4 Colossal statues, The second temple was dedicated to The Queen Nefertari and Goddess Hathor, the two temples were dismantled stone by stone and rebuilt on higher ground, The preservation of the two temples of Abu Simbel must Rank as the greatest Achievement of the Unesco

After finishing your day tour, you will be transfered to Aswan airport, You will fly to Cairo .
