Welcome to Cairo! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Relax and get settled in after your long flight.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will start your Cairo sightseeing tour with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. These ancient landmarks are sure to take your breath away. After the pyramids, you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses an impressive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun. In the afternoon, you will visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, a medieval fortress that sits on a hill overlooking Cairo. You will end the day with a visit to the Khan el Khalili bazaar, where you can browse the stalls and shops filled with souvenirs and handicrafts.
In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Nile cruise ship. In the afternoon, you will visit the East Bank of the Nile, where you will see the temples of Karnak and Luxor. These ancient temples are some of the most impressive in Egypt, with towering pillars, intricate carvings, and beautiful reliefs.
Today, you will continue your Nile cruise and visit the West Bank of the Nile, where you will see the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut. The Valley of the Kings is home to the tombs of many Pharaohs, including the tomb of King Tutankhamun, and the Temple of Hatshepsut is a beautiful temple built for a female Pharaoh. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Medinet Habu, a temple dedicated to the god Amun.
Today, you will sail to Aswan and visit the Aswan High Dam, which was built in the 1960s to control the Nile's annual floods. You will also visit the Temple of Philae, which was dedicated to the goddess Isis.
Today, you will take a felucca ride on the Nile, a traditional Egyptian sailboat. You will visit the island of Elephantine and the Temple of Khnum, the god of the Nile. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Kalabsha, a temple that was built during the Roman era and later moved to higher ground to protect it from the rising waters of the Nile.
In the morning, you will disembark from your Nile cruise ship and be transferred to the airport for a flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the Coptic Museum, which houses an impressive collection of Christian artifacts and art from the early days of Christianity in Egypt.
