Your adventure begins as you arrive at Cairo airport, where our friendly representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Cairo. After a fast and smooth check-in process, you can relax and unwind, ready for an exciting journey ahead.
Get ready to explore the iconic sights of Cairo, including the Giza Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the Egyptian Museum, home to an impressive collection of artifacts and treasures from ancient Egypt. You will also visit Old Cairo, a charming neighborhood full of history and culture. After a full day of sightseeing, you will return to your hotel in Cairo for a well-deserved rest.
Today, you will take an early morning flight from Cairo to Luxor, where you will meet our representative and transfer to your Nile cruise ship. Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard as you sail down the Nile, taking in the stunning scenery along the way. In the evening, you will enjoy a delightful dinner onboard and spend the night in Luxor.
After breakfast, you will visit the impressive Horus Temple in Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus, one of the most important deities in ancient Egypt. You will then return to the cruise ship for lunch and continue sailing to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the unique temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to both the gods Sobek and Horus. In the evening, enjoy dinner onboard and spend the night in Kom Ombo.
Today, you will sail to Aswan and visit the High Dam, an engineering marvel that provides electricity to most of Egypt, as well as the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. You will also visit the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive granite structure that was left unfinished due to a crack. In the evening, enjoy dinner onboard and spend the night in Aswan.
If you choose to add an optional tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, one of the most impressive ancient monuments in Egypt. These temples were built by the great Pharaoh Ramses II and are dedicated to him and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. After the tour, you will return to the cruise ship for lunch, dinner, and overnight in Aswan.
Today, you will visit the temple of Kom Ombo again, this time during daylight, to fully appreciate its unique architecture and fascinating history. Afterward, you will sail to Esna and enjoy afternoon tea onboard. In the evening, you will have dinner and spend the night onboard the cruise ship.
After breakfast, you'll head to the West Bank of Luxor, home to some of Egypt's most impressive and renowned archaeological sites. Your first stop is the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues that once stood at the entrance to Amenhotep III's mortuary temple.
Next, you'll visit the Valley of the Kings, where you'll have the opportunity to explore several tombs of pharaohs, including the tomb of Tutankhamun. The tombs are known for their elaborate decorations and well-preserved artwork, which offer a fascinating glimpse into ancient Egyptian life and beliefs about the afterlife.
Afterward, you'll visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most impressive temples in all of Egypt. This impressive structure was built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahri and is dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Finally, you'll visit the Colossi of Memnon before returning to the Nile cruise for lunch.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy some free time to relax and take in the stunning scenery as you sail to Luxor. Dinner will be served onboard, followed by another night of restful sleep as you cruise back to Luxor.
Today, you'll disembark from the Nile cruise after breakfast and head to the East Bank of Luxor to visit the Karnak Temple Complex, a vast complex of temples, chapels, and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods.
You'll also visit the Luxor Temple, a stunning temple built by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II. Afterward, you'll be transferred to the Luxor airport for a flight back to Cairo.
Once you arrive in Cairo, you'll check back into your hotel and have the rest of the day to yourself. You can explore the city, go shopping or simply relax before enjoying a final dinner in Cairo.
