Should I spend more time in Luxor or Aswan?

Three days is a very short time, I would recommend a minimum of three days for Luxor and a couple for Aswan, especially if you want to see Abu Simbel. The convoy from Aswan to Abu Simbel was abolished last year so you can later than 4 am.
