1. Can I kitesurf without the lessons?

Strictly NO! Kitesurfing or kiteboarding requires lessons to start ideally. There are 4 elements to start safely. The kite of ideal size according to the wind conditions, the control device/bar, the harness and a twin-tip board.

2. How many lessons are ideal?

Depending on the dedication and your athleticism, 4 to 6 lessons are ideal.

3. Does the course provide all equipment?

Yes, the course provider will provide everything.

4. Can I learn by myself?

Strictly NO! Kitesurfing/kiteboarding is a very dangerous sport if you do not know the sport.

5. Can you kitesurf without the wind?

Kitesurfing/kiteboarding is totally dependent on the wind conditions. You cannot kitesurf without any wind. We need 10 knots or 18 kmph minimum to operate.

6. What is the difference between kitesurfing and kiteboarding?

Kitesurfing is very similar to kiteboarding. The only difference is the board. Kiteboarding is a beginners sports and depending on your likes, you can upgrade to kitesurfing.

7. Can I rent after I graduate

Yes, renting is about 82 $ for 2 hours session for all the equipment.

8. How much is the course?

Depending on the country, kitesurfing/kiteboarding lessons can be availed at 165$ per session. An ideal session is minimum of 2 hours.

9. Can I kitesurf anywhere?

You can kitesurf anywhere, but ideally lagoons are the most favorable places of kite surfers where the wind is side-shored.
