Snake Canyon Day Trip

Snake Canyon, part of the greater Wadi Bani Awf region, is Oman’s largest natural water park. This trip takes you through a crack between two mountains, where rushing water has cut right through, leaving behind smooth, colorful rocks with plenty of water pools. Caving and canyoning combine for this amazing journey with our experienced guide.

Hike, boulder, swim and abseil through this famous canyon. Once you exit you will tuck into lunch of local meat and rice prepared by locals. 

This day trip is recommened for ages 16+ and is considered medium level. 

Depart Muscat - 7 am | Return -  6 pm

Level: Easy/Med if you are fit and experienced hiker / Difficult if unfit and inexperienced

Packing list:
The Essentials: Training shoes or converse suitable for canyoning, canyoning gear (such as dryfit clothing, gym tops, shorts for mean and leggings for ladies), waterproof mobile phone case, spare clothes and sandles to change into)
Nice to Have: Camera / gopro with chargers

Transport:
Free transport from Kempinski, Mysk Hotel, Holiday Inn Muscat Airport & Radisson hotels Hormuz Grand, Radisson Blu, and Park Inn by Radisson. Other pick up points avauilable for an additonal fee. 

Includes: 
Experienced guiding team, safety equipment (harnesses, helmets and life jackets) and drybags for you to carry personal items. A packed lunch, snacks and bottled water will be provided.
