Welcome to Egypt! Once you land at Cairo International Airport (CAI), your tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. If you aren't too tired from your flight, you'll have the option to visit Khan El Khalili, a famous bazaar in the center of Cairo, in the evening. Overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. You'll also see the famous Sphinx and the nearby Valley Temple.
In the afternoon, your guide will take you back to your hotel, and you'll have some free time to explore Cairo or relax. Overnight in Cairo.
Start your day with breakfast at your Cairo hotel, where your guide will meet you for a full-day private tour. You will visit the Egyptian Museum, where you will be able to see numerous antiquities from ancient Egypt, as well as the museum's mummies area (an additional ticket must be paid at the door).
Then, stop for lunch at a local restaurant before touring the Saladin Citadel, which has the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque within. Next, your guide will drive you to Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue before returning you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Today, you will take an early trip to Jordan. When you arrive at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), a driver will greet you in the arrival area and lead you on a tour of Amman. The tour includes stops at the Citadel of Amman, the Roman Theater, and the city souks. Finally, your driver will take you to your accommodation in Amman in the evening.
This morning, you'll drive north to explore the ruins of the old Roman city of Jerash, where you'll walk down Colonnaded Street, see the Temples of Artemis and Zeus, and take a rest in the massive Hippodrome, where chariot races were once conducted.
After lunch in Jerash, head north to Aljoun stronghold, a 12th-century Muslim stronghold constructed on the site of an earlier monastery. At the end of the day, your guide will transport you back to your accommodation in Amman.
After breakfast, your driver will transport you to Madaba, an old village famous for the mosaic map of the Holy Land housed in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. After that, you'll journey to Mount Nebo, from whence Moses beheld the Promised Land but was not permitted to enter.
Finally, continue on to the Dead Sea, which is known for its saline waters and being the lowest spot-on Earth. You may float on the salty surface, have a full-body mud treatment, or simply rest by your hotel's pool. Have supper and stay the night at your resort.
Spend the morning on the Dead Sea shoreline, then meet your driver at noon to proceed along the Dead Sea Highway, passing by some stunning views. Then, you'll journey into the highlands to visit the Crusader Castle of Kerak. Take a lunch break in town before continuing on the King's Highway, an ancient trade route leading to Petra.
When you arrive in Petra, you can choose to visit Petra by Night (only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) or join a local family for a traditional handmade feast.
Spend all day touring Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll travel through the mysterious Siq, view the Treasury, stroll down Colonnaded Street, and go to the Theater. If you have the energy, go to the High Place of Sacrifice or the Monastery to make the most of your day.
Following your visit, your driver will transport you to a Bedouin tent in the Wadi Rum desert, where you will have a traditional meal beneath the stars.
Begin the day with breakfast at the camp, followed by a 3-hour Jeep tour of the desert's attractions, including ancient inscriptions, magnificent rock formations, and plenty of red sand dunes. You will also have the option of taking a one-hour camel ride.
Enjoy the Martian scenery of the desert before returning to Rum Village, where your driver will pick you up and transport you back to Amman for your final night in Jordan.
